AARP TAX AIDE AT THE BOONTON SENIOR CENTER

Free tax help is available through AARP Tax Aide

Due to the Library’s construction closure the AARP tax program will be held at
the Boonton Senior Center this year.

Appointments are available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Please call 973-544-8293 to schedule an appointment.

Due to continuing poor weather the library will remain closed today, February 3. See you tomorrow at 10:00 am.

The library is scheduled to open at 1pm due to snow. Please check back later this morning for updates. This schedule may change as the weather is reevaluated. Be careful and stay safe!

Dear Boonton Library Patrons,

The second phase of the library renovation will begin soon. During this phase, the main library floor and supporting structure will be updated. This project is expected to take at least four months. In order to accommodate construction, all materials and furniture on the main and basement levels must be removed and relocated.

As a result the library will be closed to the public from Monday, February 10 through Sunday, March 2. Patrons will not be able to pick up holds at Boonton and are encouraged to select another nearby library to use during this three week transition.

Beginning Monday, March 3 our temporary home will be the Board of Education Annex building located at 436 Lathrop Ave directly across from John Hill School. Our expected hours of operation will be:

Monday through Thursday 4:00pm-9:00pm

Saturday 10:00am-3:00pm

Sunday 1:00pm-5:00pm
