Philosophy Chat Group

Ever wonder about, well, pretty much anything? Then bring your sense of wonder
to the Library's philosophy chat group! The group is part of a national, grassroots
movement devoted to bringing philosophical inquiry into our daily lives. The goal
is for each of us to become better questioners and listeners. We can then use our
improved skills to make better decisions in our personal lives, as well as better
consider public issues.

We invite adults of all backgrounds and educational levels to come together with
other inquisitive folks and discuss, in a thoughtful, respectful manner, all sorts of topics.
And no prior exposure to philosophy is required - just bring your curiosity and an open
mind!

Join the conversation! The group meets at the Library on Wednesday evenings from
7:00 to 8:30 pm. Come when you want; leave when you want. Light refreshments will be
served. We look forward to seeing you!

There will be no meeting on June 20, July 4 or July 11.
