Special Events in October:

Raptor Trust: All About Owls (ages 4 & up)
Saturday, October 27th 10:00-11:00
An in-depth look at the lives of these interesting, and often misunderstood, masters of camouflage. Learn the special adaptations that make these nocturnal birds of prey such amazing nighttime hunters, and get to know the eight species of owls that can be found right here in New Jersey! **registration is required for this event: call 973-334-2980 or email anne.ogorman@boontonholmeslibrary.org to register**

Haunted Garden (all ages)
Wednesday, October 31st 5:00-6:00
Make the library a stop on your trick-or-treating route! We will have some treats and some tricks- including a (lightly) haunted garden! (No registration required)

Ongoing Programs (Check the Calendar for dates):

Baby Story Time (0 – 18 months)
Mondays from 10:15 – 10:45
This story time is geared towards babies ages 0 to 18 months and their caregivers. The 30 minutes story time will include nursery rhymes, simple stories, songs, finger plays and movements, followed by a period of play for babies and a chance for caregivers to chat.

Story time (18 months to 5 years)
Tuesdays from 11:00-11:30am
Wednesdays from 10:30-11:00am
The 30 minute story time will include stories, songs and crafts!

LEGO Club (Ages 5 & up)
Every other Wednesday, 4:00-5:00
We provide the LEGOs, you bring the imagination! Join with other LEGO lovers, and see what you can create!

Crafternoons (Ages 9 & up)
Every other Wednesday, alternating with LEGO club, 4:00-5:00
Join with other crafters to complete a fun craft! The program is geared towards older crafters who have more scissor/glue experience (the crafts will be more on the complex side).
