Who are we?
Our purpose is to advance and encourage appreciation, understanding, enjoyment, and public use of the Library, and to work with other groups to support the cultural activities of the community.
What do we do?
Our primary objective is to increase use of the library as a space to learn and do. We sponsor events to promote the use of the library by children and adults in the community, such as STEAM events, family game nights, an escape room, and more planned for the future. We raise funds for library initiatives and improvements, such as the establishment of the makerspace, and host semi-annual used book sales to aid in pruning the library’s collection.
We work together with the officers and staff of the Library to acquaint the community with the offerings and needs of the Library, and to help improve their facilities. As a non-profit, 501c3 organization, however, we are a legally distinct entity and are not a part of the Library.
We love our Library and want to help it thrive!
We meet Quarterly, usually on a weeknight evening, at the Library. There is no membership fee to join.
